Bits and Pieces of a Life in the Garden

Influenced in her gardening by Gertrude Jekyll Barbara made three gardens over a fifty year period. She favors a romantic cottage style garden filled with old fashioned roses. As a member of the Heritage Rose Society she collected and saved many old rose varieties. She founded Sweetbriar Press to publish calendars and cards using her original photographs of gardens and flowers.
