TRAVELS ON
THE EIGHTH CONTINENT: A Natural History Adventure in Madagascar
|
In September of 2006 we joined a
group of ten people led by Luke and Nancy Cole for a 15 day exploration
of the principal remaining wild areas of Madagascar. Our presentation
will highlight the diverse habitats of the island and the exciting
endemic wildlife we were fortunate to observe and photograph.
We will also discuss and illustrate the contemporary economic
situation of the people of Madagascar and look for hope for the
future in the education of the young and development of eco-tourism
and economic aid. |
