The Splendor of California Wildflowers
| California has more species of plants than any other state. Ron will show slides of the spring blooming species in the lily family, as well as other wildflowers in their native habitats. Ron has been involved for 30 years with orchids. In addition to the book cited above, Timber Press will publish his book on Calochortus and other members of the Liliaceae family in 2007. |
Time and Place
| • | Doors open at 7:00 pm and the meeting starts promptly at 7:30 pm. |
| • | Meetings are at Covington School, 205 Covington Road, Los Altos (see Map). |
| • | Meetings are free to members, $5.00 for guests. |
