Annual Founders Award Night


The Western Horticultural Society Founder's Award was established in honor of those who had the vision and desire to create a fellowship of nurserymen, other professionals in the field and the ordinary gardener with like-minded interests.

The focus of the Founder's Award Committee has been to bestow the award to those who have been participating through the years. There are a few of the early members still involved in the society. Most of these have been members of the Board of Directors and have made many solid contributions to the betterment of the society. Their efforts brought new members, new ideas and new activities through years of transition and growth. It is with these thoughts and gratitude to all our dedicated members that the WHS plans to present the Founder's Award in future years.
